The 1987-S Prestige Proof Set is a collectible 6-coin set issued by the U.S. Mint to mark the 200th anniversary of the U.S. Constitution.

  • U.S. Constitution Bicentennial Commemorative Silver Dollar (90% silver, 0.7734 oz actual silver weight) 
Design and Specifications
  • Silver Dollar Obverse: Features a quill, a parchment scroll, the phrase "We The People," "The U.S. Constitutions 200th Anniversary," "Liberty," "In God We Trust," and the dates 1787–1987. 
  • Silver Dollar Reverse: Depicts 13 individuals representing the 13 original colonies, along with "E Pluribus Unum," "Dollar," and "United States of America". 
  • Coin Finish: All coins feature mirror-like fields and frosted relief details (proof strike). 
  • Mintage: 435,495 sets.
