1889-CC Morgan Silver Dollar - ANACS VF-30
Offered here is an authentic 1889-CC Morgan Silver Dollar, struck at the historic Carson City Mint and certified by ANACS as VF-30.
The 1889-CC is one of the key dates of the entire Morgan Dollar series and one of the most sought-after coins produced by the Carson City Mint. With an original mintage of only 350,000 coins, it has the lowest mintage of any Carson City Morgan Dollar struck for circulation.
The 1889-CC also marks the return of coin production at the Carson City Mint following a four-year suspension of coinage operations. Its low mintage, historic Western mint origin, and limited surviving population have made it an important issue for collectors of Morgan Dollars and Carson City coinage.
Graded VF-30 by ANACS, this example retains strong Very Fine detail despite circulation. Liberty's major portrait features remain clearly defined on the obverse, while the reverse retains substantial detail in the eagle, wreath, lettering, and distinctive "CC" mintmark.
