The 1890-O is a classic New Orleans issue from the Morgan Dollar series. The New Orleans Mint produced 10,701,100 Morgan Dollars in 1890, each bearing the distinctive "O" mintmark beneath the eagle on the reverse.
Designed by George T. Morgan, the obverse features the iconic portrait of Liberty surrounded by stars and the date, while the reverse depicts a heraldic eagle with outstretched wings surrounded by a wreath.
