The 1975 U.S. Proof Set is a six-coin collection issued by the United States Mint struck at the San Francisco Mint with the "S" mint mark.

• Finish: Specialized proof minting produces deep mirrored fields, frosted cameo design elements, and sharp strike details. 
• Mintage: 2,845,450 sets produced. 
• Unique Trait: It is one of the only U.S. proof sets featuring a mix of dates, because standard circulation quarters, halves, and dollars were not minted with a 1975 date due to the transition to Bicentennial designs. 
• Packaging: Originally sealed in hard plastic rings inside a rectangular plastic holder with a red felt insert, a hinged black plastic outer cover, and a black cardboard box.
