2026 Silver Eagle NGC PF-69 Congratulations Set First Day of Issue UCAM

2026-P Proof American Silver Eagle - NGC PF-69 Ultra Cameo - Congratulations Set First Day of Issue

Offered here is an authentic 2026-P Proof American Silver Eagle from the U.S. Mint Congratulations Set, struck at the Philadelphia Mint and certified by NGC as PF-69 Ultra Cameo First Day of Issue.

The 2026-P Congratulations Set Silver Eagle is one of the most notable modern issues in the American Silver Eagle series. It was released exclusively as part of the U.S. Mint’s 2026 Congratulations Set and is the first standard, non-privy Philadelphia proof Silver Eagle since 2000.

Unlike the dual-dated 1776–2026 West Point proof issued the same year, this Philadelphia coin displays only the date 2026 and does not carry a Liberty Bell 250 privy mark, giving it a distinct identity within the 40th anniversary-year lineup.

The 2026-P Congratulations Set Proof Silver Eagle had a mintage limit of only 60,000 coins, making it one of the lower-mintage Proof Silver Eagles and the lowest-mintage Philadelphia proof Silver Eagle in the series.

The obverse features Adolph A. Weinman’s celebrated Walking Liberty design, originally introduced on the Walking Liberty Half Dollar in 1916. Liberty is shown striding toward the sunrise, draped in the American flag, with the date 2026 below.

The reverse features Emily Damstra’s Type 2 eagle design, introduced in 2021, depicting a bald eagle approaching a landing with an oak branch in its talons. The distinctive “P” mintmark appears on the reverse.

The coin was struck at the Philadelphia Mint and bears the distinctive “P” mintmark.

Struck in 99.9% fine silver, the coin contains one troy ounce of silver and carries a legal tender face value of one dollar.

Graded PF-69 by NGC, this example has received a near-perfect proof grade, just one point below the highest numerical grade assigned by NGC. The Ultra Cameo designation recognizes the strong contrast between the deeply mirrored fields and sharply frosted design elements. The First Day of Issue designation recognizes that the coin was purchased on the first day of official availability and submitted to NGC within the required early-release window.
